Chien Yu, President
 As President of E22, Chien Yu leverages his software development, team management, and leadership expertise to successfully deliver high quality solutions to clients.
Chien developed a diverse range of management skills over a 7 year period at Take 2 Interactive, a $1B publicly traded video game company. He designed, built, and managed Quality Assurance and Customer Support departments for Take 2 Interactive, Take 2 Sports, and Sega Sports. These departments we successfully scaled to team sizes exceeding 150.
Over a multi-year period, Chien also directed the Major League Baseball franchise and entire product line of MLB licensed baseball games for Take 2 Interactive, under the 2K Sports brand, resulting in the successful shipping of 17 AAA game titles. Development responsibilities included managing teams of software engineers, designers, and project managers comprised of over 250 members. Chien was responsible for over $20M in concurrent product development budgets and successfully and repeatedly led his teams to deliver high quality results in time critical, and highly complex, multi-platform software development environments.
More recently, Chien was Director of Product Development at Clairvoyant Systems, an Intel Capital funded start-up where he was responsible for management of all product development initiatives.
Joshua Shaw, CTO
 Joshua Shaw leads the software and technology implementation team at E22. He has worked as a software engineer and project leader on numerous technology initiatives for prominent global companies such as Symantec, Deutsche Bank, and Ford. Joshua has led the development of over a hundred Internet-related projects for such clients as Disney, Namco, Sony, Midway, Energizer, Proctor & Gamble and Mitsubishi.
Joshua utilizes a broad variety of technologies and is proficient in multiple languages from both a programming and implementation perspective. Languages include Java, .Net, Active Server Pages, Visual Basic, Perl, PHP, ColdFusion and JavaScript. Technologies include Java applications, Java servlets, Java Server Pages, Component Object Model (COM), ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), .NET technologies and dynamic HTML (DHTML). He develops with database servers such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, mSQL, Sybase ASE and Informix. His extensive experience includes administering SUN Solaris, Linux, FreeBSD, Apple, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 servers and network devices including routers, firewalls, IP telephony and wireless LAN's. He also possesses in-depth knowledge of a range of Internet protocols including HTTP, FTP, SMTP and LDAP.
He has extensive experience in managing and participating in the software development cycle as it applies to rapid application development including traditional software applications, three tier systems, web applications and web sites
Prior to joining E22, Joshua ran the engineering department for Keane Interactive, a division of Keane, Inc., a multi-billion dollar publicly traded computer services company. More recently, Joshua was the founder and CEO of Belay Development, a Los Angeles based technology solutions provider.
Joshua is a graduate of the Resident Honors Accelerated Graduation Program of the University of Southern California.
Eric deValpine, CFO
Eric leverages over 10 years of experience in financial analysis and operations to support E22's financial operations and HR functions. Eric has successfully designed, built and managed finance processes and organizations supporting multi-million dollar operating budgets. Additionally, Eric has significant experience in financial analysis, structuring debt and equity investments in technology companies, and raising investment capital
His experience spans a broad array of industries, having developed his financial skills in software, digital media, wireless communications, home building, and food services sectors.
Eric has a B.A. from the University of Texas, Austin and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Irvine.
